My approach:

I take a practical, compassionate approach to therapy, helping you make sense of your experiences and take meaningful steps forward. Though I do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, the core of my therapeutic style is person-centered, integrating solution-focused, narrative, motivational interviewing, ACT, and CBT techniques.

Explore Therapy Types

  • Short-term approach that focuses on identifying and building upon strengths and resources to achieve your goals.

  • Helps to reframe your stories and find new meanings in your experiences — “rewriting” your life story moving forward.

  • Highlights the uncovering of your strengths and motivation for change.

  • Supports embracing change and moving toward what matters most to you.

  • Helps to recognize and reframe unhelpful thought patterns.

What to expect:

In our sessions, you can expect a balance of reflection and real-life tools. Together, we’ll explore your story, reframe unhelpful patterns, and focus on strategies that help you manage stress and move through transitions with more clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Understanding that therapy is a journey, I aim to support you in navigating various stages in life which can be aligned with:

  • learning/unlearning - serves as a foundation - release what doesn’t serve us and embrace what does

  • searching – opportunity to pivot, take risks, and get support for the obstacles being faced

  • planning – intentional choice in a path to overcome challenges and meet goals

  • teaching – a collaborative effort that welcomes listening and learning, empowering one to share, explore, and unpack one’s own narratives
